>COOL AND SEXY

>

Recently I stopped by the Forever21 store in Times Square on a late night just to checkout what they had. The last time I went I was disappointed because I couldn’t find anything. I always feel like those spur of the moment shopping trips spawn the best pieces. Which was the case with this skirt. I was immediately attracted to the colors in this skirt and when I saw it had that color block effect, I was sold. The skirt is very clingy so I had to wear control top stockings so my cellulite wouldn’t show. I liked how bold the black and blue looked together, so, I wanted to continue with the black by wearing my fave pleather waterfall jacket and a black sheer top that I got from Torrid last year. This look infused a cool and sexy feeling within me.

>LEOPARD LIKE

I haven’t worn this leopard print faux fur coat in awhile. I think I’m still deciding if I like it or not. However, I put it on this weekend because I wanted to add a little spice to an all black outfit that I wore to an event.
I wore a pair of my favorite black trouser pants that was gifted to me from Sejour. They are straight leg trousers that hit at the waist to keep my little hero from looking like a muffin top. I’ve put on a little weight so they are a little more fitted (tight) than when I first got them. Nevertheless, they still fit. I was in an all black mood this weekend due to the stresses of my life. I now understand why celebs wear shades indoors. I was not in the mood for eye contact with anyone and kept my shades on. After a few minutes, I felt kind of silly with shades on inside. I wanted to get out of my funky mood and thought that wearing bright red would make me feel better, so I’m wearing my red suede shoes again and my red belt with a heart shape buckle.

It was somewhat of a nice weather weekend because there was no snow and the temperature wasn’t freezing below.
Hope you guys had a great weekend.

>LEATHER AND LACE

It has truly been a long week and the weekend just started. I decided to go out and get some drinks Friday with a friend. Since it was a bit chilly outside, I thought it would be the perfect time to breakout my biker jacket. I threw it on over a sheer top and with my pale pink lace skirt. I also put on my over the knee boots but pushed them down for more of a scrunched look. I love big dressy earrings so I added my black and silver chandelier earrings.
I love all the zippers on this leather biker jacket and the toughness makes me feel like a little bad ass. I bought this lace skirt this summer and just adore how much it works with other things in my wardrobe. I’m also wearing my fuchsia lipstick from MAC called, “Girl About Town.” I only wear it at night because it’s a little bright. I didn’t like how the lipstick looked on its own so I put gloss over it.

>ONE STOP PLUS PARTNERS WITH TORRID

>

Hey curvy girls all over the world,
For many, Torrid is the go to place for trendy and contemporary plus size clothing. Well, now you can get your Torrid fix over at OneStopPlus’s online mall. The online retailer has teamed up with Torrid to bring of the moment fashion to a whole other market of plus size women.

Here’s what OSP’s President Stephanie Sobel had to say about the partnership:
“Torrid’s distinct take on catwalk to sidewalk brings OneStopPlus.com
another step closer to providing all things to all plus-size women,”  “As the largest

pureplay plus size retailer in the world, we are committed to providing a

broad portfolio of fashion options for our customers, as well as

opportunities for forward-thinking companies.”

A few months ago Lane Bryant partnered with the infamous DKNY brand by selling selective pieces in store an online. From what I hear the partnership is doing well. DKNY Plus is not accessible everywhere so in my opinion it was a great move for Lane Bryant. Since Torrid has its own online presence I’m curious to see how well this partnership does. I clicked around on the website and saw that they are selling the same items that Torrid has on their website. I think it would be great if Torrid offered exclusive items on OSP and if they did outfit combos that included Torrid and other OSP brands. What this partnership will offer is OSP’s customer base Torrid’s young and trendy aesthetic.

We think it’s a good look for OneStopPlus.com. Checkout the site HERE

>TORRID SWIMWEAR IS HERE

>Since it’s been so cold and snowy, my mind can’t even fathom swimwear right now. When I checked my email and saw that Torrid swimwear is now available. Looking at the pictures just makes me long for winter to be over. The suits are cute and girly. My favorite is the zebra print with the purple trimming. Oh, I can just imagine myself on the beach in Miami sipping on a mimosa with a sombrero.
