One thing about Kim K. is that she knows how to make trends work for her curves. Kim’s entire look is trendy and most stylists would say that’s a no no. You should just go with one trend. As with any fashion rule, that’s not always true. We like that Kim is not afraid to try things out and mix and match pieces. This season SC is a fan of the motocross jeans and faux fur vest. Kim paired the two together for a unique look. We also like that she added the wide brim hat and blush colored platform pumps to pull everything together.

Looking for a cool weekend look? Take a few cues from Janet Jackson. “The For Colored Girls Only star was at 106 and Park looking super cute in a leather jacket, skinny jeans, and animal print boots. What we like about Janet’s outfit is that it’s made up of basic pieces like a black turtleneck and black skinny jeans that are probably already in your closet. We also like that she spiced things up with a pair of leopard print boots.

>Hey curvy girls,
It’s been awhile since I’ve done a “Skinny girl fashion for curvy bodies” feature. For all my new readers, the skinny girl fashion feature is where I take a slim celebrity’s look and recreate it for the plus size curvy girl. Yes, it’s similar to The Look For Less features that a myriad of blogs do, but, SC’s small twist is that we particularly use a slim celebrity just to show you that curvy girls can rock the same looks as the slim girls do.
Also for some of my new readers who don’t know. I am a contributor for The Budget Fashionista created by Kathryn Finney (My Fairy God Mother). I do the Look For Less features which caters more to the Missy sizes. This week my Look For Less feature was on Katy Perry’s fringe dress. While searching for a replica of Katy’s look I came across, damn near the same dress at ASOS.
To see the rest of the look, check out my Look For Less post on The Budget Fashionista.
