>JAZMINE SULLIVAN ON THE FASHION SCENE

>

I am a super fan of fellow curvy girl Jazmine Sullivan. Her voice is ridiculous (in a good way)! It’s deep, sultry, warm, and velvety. This year she dropped her second album, Love Me Back. Which has amazing songs like “10 Seconds” and “Hold you down.”
Along with dropping a new album, Jazmine has taken on a new style. When she first stepped on the scene, she had more of an undefined  look. She was known for rocking super cute head wraps, but, I think she was still finding her artist style. This time around she opted for more of a sexy sophisticated look with a touch of edginess mixed in. Sullivan has been on her album campaign trail and she’s been serving up some pretty good curvy girl style.

  1. >Yaaaay to all except #3. Love the clutch in pic #1, shoes in look #2, the suit us fierce, I need to recreat the look with the boyfriend jeans & the final pic….ohhhhweeee I NEED that look for my bday next month =0)

  2. >to me, jazmine is the second coming of phyllis hyman (sound and look) so i think, what would phyllis wear (minus the hats) and how could that be made modern? i like jazmine's looks for the most part. that last look is my least favorite.

  3. >@avid accents-Yes, that double breasted dress is something fierce.@divamom & Amanda-I am digging that outfit too. @Asha-see this is why I love when you comment. She so does remind me of Phyllis Hyman. I didn't make the connection until you said it. Everything from her voice even to her build is very Hymanesque.

  4. >I THINK JAZMINE LOOKS AWESOME, SHE IS YOUNG AND PRETTY WITH GREAT STYLE AND SHE IS ROCKIN THE DRESS IN THE SECOND PICTURE IT LOOKS LIKE A DRESS RIGHT OUT OF THE 20'S SHE LOOKS GOOD
